Honeycombe House Bed and Breakfast, is
a family run Victorian house situated a few minutes walk from the
centre of the 14th Century picturesque working fishing village of

It is situated near the top of Polkirt Hill

Visitors to Mevagissey can explore the narrow
streets leading off the harbour, visit the many Gift and Craft shops
and Art Galleries, or seek refreshment in the numerous Cafes,
Restaurants and Pubs.
Mevagissey is also home to the famous ‘World of
Model Railways’ exhibition, along with a museum and small aquarium.
You can sit and relax around the harbour and
watch the fishermen at work on the quay, and both fishing trips and
small pleasure boats are available in order for you to explore the bay
during spring and summer months.
A passenger ferry runs to and from Fowey between
May and September, from which many of our guests have been lucky enough
to see basking sharks, dolphins and seals.
Honeycombe House
is ideally situated to visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan, a couple of
minutes away by car, or the Eden Project which is only 9 miles
away, and the new National Maritime Museum at Falmouth is only 30 miles
away.
Mevagissey is an ideal base from which to
explore the numerous delights of Cornwall.
You may even prefer to find a nearby beach or
stroll along the South West Coast Path which passes the house. A
section of the National Cycle Network runs in front of Honeycombe
House, and we have secure storage for bikes.
There is full central heating, a comfortable
guest lounge, and breakfast is served in the dining room – which must
have one of the best views in Cornwall, overlooking both the inner and
outer harbours, miles of coastline and St. Austell bay.
Honeycombe House Guest House Accommodation in Mevagissey, Cornwall is
run by Resident proprietors Ian & Val Soper, who look forward to
giving you a warm welcome to Cornwall.

In
Lonely Planet's Devon, Cornwall & Southwest England first
edition, published 1st February 2008, writers Oliver Berry and
Belinda Dixon gave us the following review -
"It’s
a stiff walk uphill to this sweet B&B, but the super outlook is
worth the effort. Creamy walls and light pine define the rooms; if
you're a view-junky make sure you ask for Victoria or Albert, which
both have great balconies overlooking the harbour and Mevagissey Bay.
